After several consultations, also with exhibitors, NürnbergMesse and VDMA Holzbearbeitungsmaschinen, as the organizer of HOLZ-HANDWERK, have jointly decided to postpone HOLZ-HANDWERK and FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2022 from Tuesday 12 to Friday 15 July, 2022.
Juergen Koeppel, Eumabois President, stated: “I very much regret that Holz-Handwerk 2022 cannot take place on the planned date at the end of March. Due to the high dynamics in the Corona Pandemic because of the Omicron variant, the development in the next few weeks cannot be predicted at all. All exhibitors, but especially the machine builders, and our customers, need planning security, which unfortunately is not possible at the moment. All participants would have appreciated very much to have presented their innovations to visitors in Nuremberg at the end of March, as the trade fair duo Holz-Handwerk and Fensterbau Frontale is one of the most important trade fairs in our industry in even-numbered years. However, it was all the more important to involve exhibitors in the decision-making process and to communicate the postponement in advance. While postponing to July 12-15, 2022 wasn’t that easy, it’s the right decision at the right time. I am looking forward to July and I am sure that we will see an event which, in addition to innovations and good technical discussions, will confirm the very specific spirit of Nuremberg. With the successfully implemented hygiene concept of the Nuremberg Fair, we will also find boundary conditions that will ensure a safe and successful exhibition duo of Holz-Handwerk and Fensterbau Frontale.“
