OPCUA Project initiated in 2018 is a milestone in the Woodworking Machinery industry. The project named IZY, under EUMABOIS umbrella and with the involvement of the two national Association VDMA and ACIMALL has seen the participation of seven european companies, leaders in woodworking machinery: BIESSE, BÜRKLE, HOMAG, IMA SCHELLING, SCM, WEBER AND WEINIG. the companies have worked together as a team in defining a standardized interface to connect all their woodworking machines, machine to machine, and machines to the customers’ Manufacturing Execution Systems.
