DREMA 2023: Post-Show Report

The thirty-ninth edition of the International Trade Fair of Machines, Tools and Components for the Wood and Furniture Industries in Poznan proved to be the meeting point for wood and furniture industry aimed at enlarging the spectrum of development opportunities along the entire value chain. Within the 16,700 sqm exhibiting area DREMA 2023 recorded the presence of more than 400 exhibitors from 16 countries showcasing wide range of products out of which 10 were awarded by the prestigious MTP Group Gold Medal. In four September days, the capital of Wielkopolska region hosted more than 11,000 woodworking professionals from 24 countries.

DREMA 2023 brought up and displayed high-tech solutions, integrated systems and machines that can significantly reduce production costs and thus improve the efficiency, quality and sustainability of woodworking and furniture production.

The programme was enriched by National Furniture Congress “Polish Furniture – Competitive Poland”, prepared by the Polish Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers, which took place for the 8th time, always aimed at providing future perspectives and strategical inputs for the furniture industry of Poland, being the world leading exporter.

Special attention was on a charity event DREMA for Children organised by the DROMA Association of Woodworking Machinery, Devices and Tools – active member of the EUMABOIS – the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of the Poznań University of Life Sciences and Grupa MTP and supported by Furniture Department of the Poznań University of Life Sciences and InfoTEC incubator.
