The activity of the Federation is to coordinate, protect and promote the technical and economic interests of the European industry of woodworking machinery and specifically:

REPRESENT

the common interests of the European woodworking machinery industries, particularly in relation to Authorities and Associations.

PROMOTE

the European woodworking machinery Industry and its development in the fields of economy, technology and science.

STUDY AND SOLVE

technical, economic and promotional problems involving the interests of European companies.

FOSTER

the knowledge and wider diffusion of European woodworking technology, including through the promotion of exhibitions and conferences.

CARRY OUT

• The collection and processing of statistical data, economic information and market studies in the woodworking industry.
  
  
• Trade fair activities, with particular reference to the creation of the “World Exhibitions Network" of sponsored shows as well as to the setting up of new events.
  
  
• Technical activities relating to CEN standardisation in the sphere of machine safety and to the new sector nomenclature, now available in the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Czech.
  
  
• Promotional and public relation activities, with the aim of promoting the activities of the Federation and making them known to media worldwide.
